Rod Van Every Art

Rod Van Every has been a Yukon artist for 35+ years.  Originally from Dawson City, he now resides on the shores of Teslin Lake.
He has participated in live art competitions, mentored followed artists, hosted art gatherings, has been hired to teach painting to interested community members, and owns and operates a studio gallery.
His creativity can be found on vintage Canadiana objects, to natural resources found in the woods, as well as through thought provoking canvas paintings.  Essentially, he will paint on anything vintage, from discarded oil cans, to plates, shovels, saws and automotive parts, etc., utilizing acrylics and oils.
Many of his works depict a simpler time in life, where he finds beauty in the remains of old cabins and the historia of Canada past.  His passions encompass the outdoors, the history of the Yukon and the ability to create with his own two hands.  He also enjoys conversation about all thing’s art, history and a nature.
