While living in a van and visiting the Yukon for what was supposed to be a 6-month trip, Kim joined the Fireweed Market team as a Summer Market Assistant in 2023. After falling in love with the Yukon and deciding to stay, she later joined the Winter Market team as a Cashier.

Kim enjoyed being part of the Fireweed Market community so much that she stepped into the role of Summer Market Manager, leading the market for two seasons in 2024 and 2025. She also joined the Winter Market management team in 2024 and continues as Winter Market Co-Manager in 2026.

Kim is passionate about supporting small businesses and giving back to the community. She previously worked with the Langley Community Farmers Market and brings experience in customer service, administration, branding, design, marketing, coaching, wellness, and business development.

When she’s not at the market, you can find her spending time with her partner and two pups, hanging out at a local coffee shop, working on a creative project, or exploring the Yukon.
