We have printed a lot of these postcard size invites with the front showing when, where, and for how long our market runs
December 9th - 22nd
yes, 14 days as we added 2 more to our booking to spread out our customers.
9am - 9pm daily
we added 3hrs each day so to make their is ample choice for choosing a quite time to shop.
The back side will let you know our safety measures and what to expect this year (copied below as well)
Controlled entrance (kitchen doors) and exit (multi-purpose doors) are used to keep within capacity to ensure proper social distancing
One way traffic
Arrows are used to direct the flow of shoppers to avoid congestion in the aisles
Physically distanced line-ups
Markers on the ground will indicate the safe distance within the line-ups for the register and to enter the sale
Sanitizing stations and mask wearing
Keeping your hands clean and wearing a mask helps deter the spread of the virus in our community
Shop during the slow times of the market and avoid the line-ups
If you are showing symptoms, please stay home.
We will have a preferred direction of travel while shopping at the market with markets on the floor. You can always go straight to the cashiers by using the outside aisles.
All visitors will be entering through the middle doors. KDCC staff will be welcoming the public to the building. The doors in front of the market will be used as the exit only.
The doors in front of the multipurpose room will be used as the exit for the market. We are in the multipurpose room while Yuke Market is in the Artist Studio.
Our cashier area is adjusted a bit to separate our staff and customers arriving with their purchases. Two cashiers will be available most of our open hours. One member of our cashier staff will be on the door to monitor room capacity, welcome shoppers and answer any questions.
the "shop smart" graphic on the back side of our postcard was generated from over 4 years of data (above). We simplified it down to a single day for the card but you should also know that Saturdays, Opening day and our final day are usually busy. It is during these days and times (12-3pm) that you might be asked to wait in the hallway if we are at capacity (26-30 customers)
