We promote the production and consumption of Yukon products. We offer authentic experiences to residents and tourists by supporting local entrepreneurs and small businesses and directly connecting consumers with producers of quality goods that are locally grown, raised, wild-harvested, or hand-crafted -the Fireweed Community Market Society in Whitehorse
Since 2005, a volunteer board has guided the strategic and operational success of our non-profit society, with the support of part-time and seasonal staff, over 250 members and hundreds of volunteer hours. Long term funding from the Canadian Agricultural Partnership program provides significant support.
