Land acknowledgment:
The Fireweed Community Market Society has been operating in Whitehorse since 2005 on the land of Ta’an Kwäch’än Council and Kwanlin Dün First Nation. We acknowledge that many of our members are guests on this land, benefiting greatly from living and working within this Territory. It is with great gratitude that we honour the 14 First Nations who have resolutely protected this land for millennia and celebrate their unique histories, languages, and cultures which make our community so vibrant.
