Copper Caribou
Montana and Delaney Prysnuk are members of Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation with ties to Inuvialuit, as well as Ukrainian/Scandinavian heritage. Vadzaih ch’ijì (caribou antler) and beadwork on hometan hide (tanned themselves) are main components of their work. Their art is a mix of traditional methods and modern designs, as well as an assortment of hide tanning and bush tools.
