Virsa Crafts

Virsa Crafts is a celebration of creativity, culture, and the quiet joy of making things by hand. Based in Whitehorse, Yukon, each piece is thoughtfully created by Attinder, a proud Yukoner with Punjabi roots who finds inspiration in both the northern landscape and memories of home and culture.

Her work spans multiple art forms, including handcrafted pottery, intricate henna designs, soothing massage candles, paintings, and handmade cards. While the mediums vary, the intention remains the same: to create pieces that bring warmth, beauty, and meaning into everyday life.

Many of her creations are inspired by the natural beauty of the Yukon — its colours, wildlife, and landscapes — while others reflect personal memories and cultural influences from Punjabi heritage. Rather than following traditional forms, the work grows from lived experiences, blending the spirit of the North with the warmth of cultural identity.

Through markets, workshops, and community events, Virsa Crafts also aims to share the joy of handmade art and encourage others to connect with creativity. Each piece is created slowly and thoughtfully, celebrating the value of craftsmanship in a world that often moves too quickly.
